The Story

It's Bad news, the grocer shop is closed and Stan & Babs have nowhere to sell their eggs. Meanwhile, next door, Maddie is in the garden and one of the hens decides to chase her. In the chase Maddie loses her ear-ring. Maddie's son digs out his Metal Detector, and Dustbin the goat comes to help, but jumps on the metal detector and breaks it.
Dustbin goes off to try and find it, but gets distracted by the Vegetable patch. The kids then work out that Matilda the hen will be able to find it, as she is good at spotting shiny things. She does find it, but then swallows it, so Maddie has to buy all of the eggs until she eventually finds her ear-ring!
