The Story

Chalky's class aren't looking forward to their poetry lesson and want to get out of it. Chalky comes up with an idea. He draws pictures of girls on the top of the desks, and when the teacher comes into the room they all hold their desk lids up so the teacher sees a class of girls.

He apologises for getting the wrong class and leaves the room, whilst the class can spend time relaxing thanks to Chalky. The last box shows the poor teacher unable to work out where his class have gone.
