The Story

Chalky and his friend are late for school and the headmaster is at the gate. Unless they have a good reason for being late they will be in trouble. Chalky transforms a box into a pile of books for his friend, who stumbles into the gate claiming that he's late because the heavy books slowed him down.

Chalky goes to think of an excuse for himself but treads on his chalks. He opens the packet to find just chalk dust and he can't draw a thing. But suddenly a gust of wind gets up and blows the chalk dust into the head's eyes, giving Chalky a chance to slip in without being spotted.
