The Story
Chalky's Class are being shown around the Duke of Dumshire's Old Castle. The Duke
himself is doing the tour and says that supposedly there is a headless ghost of one
of his ancestors though he's never seen it. Curly whispers to Chalky about what kind
of head the ghost had before he lost it, and Chalky sketches some designs on the
wall. As they hurry up to the rest of the class the school bus is waiting to
go.
The duke is sure Chalky and Curly have been up to no good and when the bus has gone
goes to take a look. He finds the heads on the wall and begins cleaning them off. As
he gets to the last head, the ghost appears, ordering the Duke not to clean it,
because it belongs to him!
Notes
Chalky draws 5 heads on the wall, the last one belongs to the ghost.
The ghost initially has a sword through its chest, but it removes the sword to scare
off the duke
The duke refers to the ghost as his "Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather."
There are thirteen children including Chalky and Curly on the tour, but appears to
be only 11 on the bus.
