The Story

Mr Ware decides to wage war on the staff room. He's been trying to clean it for ages, and now everybody is out it's his perfect opportunity. But when the staff return they are horrified to find it clean and ban Mr Ware from the room. The headteacher lets slip that the teachers want to relax there because it's the only place they can get away from their nagging wives.

Mr Ware gets an idea. Ware decides to tell his wife that a promotions inspector is going to be interviewing the teachers in the staff room, but it's a big secret and she shouldn't tell anyone. Mrs Ware decides to call a few people. A while later the teachers are relaxing in the staff room, when their wives appear at the door, and start cleaning. And it's due to stay that way as one of the wives are taking it in turns to keep guard.
