The Story
Belle's made a new years resolution to try and be Glenda's friend. Glenda reveals that HER New Year's Resolution is to become the Belle of the school. Belle thinks that's a wonderful idea and offers to help Glenda. But Glenda says she doesn't need any help.
Belle insists and starts off by trying to make herself less beautiful by removing her hair ribbon. Her hair will then cover her face, and she ties the ribbon on Glenda's hair instead. Next up Belle pulls down her Gymslip to cover her knees, and says that Glenda already looks beautiful.
Glenda continues to protest that she does not need help, but Belle carries on regardless, saying that her Gymslip needs to be pulled up. It's at that moment she spots some dates written on Glenda's leg. She asks if they are dates to remember in 1986 like birthdays, but the history teacher comes along and recognises them as answers to the History test questions that Glenda hopes she'll be asked today. Glenda is towed off to the head's study for cheating and Belle ponders at how even when she tries to be nice, Glenda still ends up hating her.
Notes
The dates on Glenda's leg are Great plague 1665, Great Fire 1666, Battle of Traflagar 1805, Battle of Hastings 1066, and Battle of Waterloo 1815.
The history teacher spits out a jelly baby in rage.
