The Story

It's the first day back at school after the holidays and Belle is getting lots of presents from all the boys. Glenda is jealous, but she bts that Beefy Berni has brought her a bigger and better present then anything Belle has.

She finds Bernie and he has brought her a prsent, but she has to guess what it is. He first guess is some French Perfume. At this point we get to see the present is a huge stick of rock. And there's a dog bounding up to it. As Glenda guesses Haggis from Scotland, the dog is munching at the rock. Glenda guesses Black Pudding from Wigan, and the Dog manages to snap off half of the stick.

Glenda then guesss Kippers from the Isle of Man, which Bernie says is wrong. The Glenda guesses a huge stick of Southend rock, and Bernie says it's nearly right, but the wrong town. As this is happening some wasps are flying towards the remains of the rock.

Glenda runs through a list of towns (Margate, Cleethorpes and Blackpool), and finally Bernie says she's right. Bernie pulls the rock around to give it to Glenda, but all that is left is the wasps who give chase as Glenda runs off.

The final fram has Glenda being chased by wasps with Belle complaining that she only appeared twice this week, so next week she's going on strike and won't appear at all!

Belle gets Spanish Castanets from Spotty, Cornish Cream from Danny and a model of the Eiffel Tower from Basher Bates.
A box on the final frame asks if Belle will carry out her threat and to find out next week.
