The Story

Arty Crafty is at Guy's house waiting for an opportunity. Guy says it's Dad's turn to wash the dishes, but Dad has to pop out for something so gets Guy to do it. Arty Crafty spots his chance.

Arty suggests Guy drops a plate on the floor to get revenge, and Guy agrees. Arty is thrilled, until the plate bounces as it's unbreakable. Guy then starts running the water. Arty suggests Guy should pretend the water wasn't hot enough. Guy has run hot water (as Arty finds out the hard way) but wears rubber gloves so he doesn't burn himself.

Next Arty suggests Guy should get rid of the washing up liquid down the sink and use that as an excuse to get out of washing up. Guy says that would be a waste and very wrong. But as he goes to squirt it out, he realises the washing up liquid is empty.

Suddenly, Guy's Dad pops his head around the door saying he knows Guy can't do the dishes. It was all a joke. Dad went out to buy a dishwasher and has bought it back with him!

Notes

Mum made out a list as to who washes up the dishes when.
