The Story

Following on from last week Cliff is sliding down the mountainside on a tray. He lands in a jungle pool, which fortunately isn't deep. He notices something swimming towards him and it's a snake. The snake wraps himself around Cliff, and Cliff asks for our help as to what to do next.

The options are Scare the Snake, Hop to the Bank, or Grab the Overhanging Creeper. Scaring the snake makes it pop out of it's skin, but the skin remains coiled around Cliff. Hoping to the bank is quite literally a bank (money style) which doesn't help, but grabbing the overhanging creeper is the right answer. There's a lady snake on the creeper, and the two fall in love - and the story continues....

Cliff is convinced the Evil Spies base is somewhere in the jungle, and starts trying to find it. But the jungle is getting thicker and it's becoming harder to see. Suddenly, he spots the shadow of something that looks like a monster, and once again he asks our advice. Press on, or Turn tail? Turn tail refers to oturning the tail of a tiger, who isn't particularly pleased. Press on is the right answer, as it's the on switch to the torch. The shadow turns out to be a statue with some strange inscriptions on it. Cliff tells us he'll find out what they mean next week.

Notes

Unusually for a Cliff Hanger strip, this one has two chances to choose what happens next.
